I need some help on replacing a Samsung T100 screen...

I have the phone in bit's but...... i have become stuck as i need to remove screen housing from phone & a bit worried it will break, is there a tool for doing doing this, or is it worth a gamble??

Because I am so nice or maybe have too much time on my hands (doubt it the first one )

Here we go:-

1. Using a tool as shown in pic 1 (pic is not that good but the tool is like a flat screw driver but has a bend at the end)

2. push out the little plastic eye where the led flashes as shown in pic 2

3. Now in the hole you will see a little black bit this is the hinge that holds the top part of the phone on.

Push it in and at the same time pull the screen away from the phone. pic 3 and pic 4

4. now remove the little bit of tape that holds the LCD Ribbon in place pic 5

5. now pull the ribbon through

6. now remove the two screws shown in pic 6

7. now GENTLY push the bit down shown in pic 7 and use tool shown before to prise the top off and bingo!

the A800 is very similar, so yes.

One thing to note is that you must move the litte magnet across if you are rehousing the phone, as most new housings don't have this in.
