unlock code level 1-7?

sorry quick question, i'm just about to try the code but can someone tell me what the 1-7 means (the unlock digit) before the # at the end?

your code looks like this
#pw+000000000000000+1#
as you can see there is a +1 before the #
that is your the unlock digit it can be a +1 or a +7
depending of the country you are in

thats what i wanted to know, which one to use basically, the one ending in 1,2,3,4,5,6 or 7! i'm in uk.

there are 7 different codes ending in one of those numbers aren't there?

use the 7 code.

I just tried code 7 then code 1 on my 8310 locked to o2 and it said code error both times

as its on o2 it probably isnt locked have you tried another network sim in it?

it was my sisters phone and i just took her word for it that it was locked! it wasn't

i was just trying it out on hers before my mates 3510i (on o2 aswell but definately locked...says enter restriction code)

i expect ones on contract and the otherpayg.if you get the code for the 3510i use the +7 code to unlock it.
