    Question when do i have to update the FAID?

    when do i have to update the FAID in my phone?
    after flashing? after unlocking? after changin the IMEI?

    i'd recomend that you update faid after all of what you said....

    after flashing (especially), after unlocking & after changin the IMEI

    and....hmmm....i have seen some messages here about problems with calculating the FAID in 3330 v4.50, but GeeZuZz told me that it is possible to unlock it. so, is there aproblem with it or not?

    i'm asking this question bacause i know that in EEprom tools i need to update the FAID after i click the reset sp locks button...

    No problem.

    If U use a new flash, it has good calced check values from Nokia.

    The problems start if U recalc those values, like after editing the data.

    Then the faid no longer works on those specific versions.

    Simple answer. The last thing you do before you disconnect the cable, is calcing FAID.
