locked or barred help?

i have got a 7250 i can put any sim card in it but i cant make phone calls or send messages is it locked or barred if it is barred can i do anything 2 unbarr or unlocked it please help or is there a cable i can buy 2 fix these problems if so were can i buy it?

phone is barred.

a cable will not help you.

you need a new uem chip, a hot-air station to replace the chip with the existing one, and then a box like griffin to program the new imei.

this will result in more than 500$, and also you may damage the phone if you don't have experience in soldering.

best thing you can do is swap it for another barred phone from another country.

phone service supplier and they will remotely ZAP and update your old sim free of charge(well it worked for me)
