6100 Does not charge! please help!

i have a nokia 6100 but it does not charge, i put the charger in and nothing happens!!!
i have checked the charger block with a multimeter and it seems fine!

please help!!!!

Try a different battery. If that doesn't work, then you might have to take your phone to Nokia Care.

fuse in what? is there one actually in the phone? (problem is not in the charger as it works with other phones)

if there is a fuse inside the phone, have you got any pictures so i can locate it

hi, wasn't able to get another fuse...i took 2 out of 2 DEAD phones, (same spec!) but they didn't work afta i de-soldered them!!!!

so for now i'v just shorted the fuse...just hope i don't get a surge though it!
