First of all, the reason it may not have worked is because it wasnt a true WAV file. Meaning, it could be a AAC file which has just been renamed with the WAV extension - Its still an AAC file though. Secondly, he reason for the file not deleting may be because it is a Read Only File.

I forget, but i think SeleQ, FExplorer etc have the option of making file read only and read&write etc. Check all of the program for such an option. If all else fails, reset your phone after backing up any contacts and messages etc.

Try sending anoter wav renamed to mail6a.wav and try pasteing it over.
Also remeber that no app that is running may have this file in use.

If still no luck, strip down ur MMC cept for the mail6a.wav format and put it al back.

    if u got a 512MB GOOD LUCK

In this case, with a file explorer like seleQ, select the file (Ur rington) then click on Options, then file and properties. With the pad go to Attribute and check if the file is not in "read only". Modify it and you'll be able to remove your file.

    That's it.
