Can't recive calls!

Hi!

I've got a 6610 that i braught off a friend from school but i cant recive calls from it, it came with a telstra sim in it ( im with optus ) but i put mine in.

how can i unlock it to recive calls!

The only phones that are locked by Telstra are prepaid and I'm sure they've never offered the 6610 on prepaid, but I could be wrong. If the phone was locked, you couldn't make calls from it, but you only say you want to be able to receive calls. What does the phone say? You can use the calculator available on this site to get the code to unlock it, but I don't think thats the problem. You sure your mate didnt sell you a dud phone?

It sounds like the phone is a bit on the warm side to me

Yeah it sounds like the phone is blacklisted
so it has been reported stolen by someone

when you try to make a call with full signal does it make the sound like when you have no signal?
if yes then the phone is blocked from the network
