security code after unlocking 3310

Hello!

I unlocked a friend's 3310 a couple of weeks ago. After entering the code generated here on this site, everything seemed to be going well, the phone displayed the message "Limitations turned off" (I'm not sure this is the English message, I translated it from Hungarian, but it definitely meant to me that the thing worked). When a couple of days ago he bought a new sim card from a different phone company and put it in, the phone asked for the security code which of course he didn't know (I think he tried to enter 12345 but didn't work). So why do you think this happened? How can it be fixed? I unlocked my girl's 3410 but it works perfectly no matter what simcard is in. thanks for your help in advance. attila

The phone is asking for a security code because there is a new SIM present in the phone.
You need to reset the phone back to factory settings i.e default code 12345
using sw such as noktool 1.9 etc
