Format 5510

Hey there guys. When I format my phone, there's only 32 MB available. No files are in the memory. Is there away for me to restore the factory setting? I've tried the restore factory setting in the setting menu. By default it's 12345 or 00000....didn't work..Can anyone help me with this?

try to use 5510 ui flash, if can't repaired maybe memory modul ur phone is broke half side,must be change with new one.

i dont think so, memory module in 5510 is samsung k9k1208 (one piece) couldnt just half-broke

as for the original question - i am currently looking for the FAT16 emulator (i think its inside the 5510 flash) it is in my opinion the only way to change the size of the 5510 drive. why do i think it is emulated: raw write cant alter the bootsector (it always switch back to what it was) but the disk name (stored in the bootsector) can be changed. as for the hardware i didnt found any controller inside that could do this by it self (best hit is the dsp tms 160 microprocessor). so maybe if you flashed your phone you have, by mistake, changed the emulator presets?

i am looking into it for 3 days now, so i leave it open for discussion (i know less then nothing)

one more thing: i am trying to make 5510 drive bootable - if you, or anybody have smthg to share on that matter, pls do so

one more more thing: what i am finally trying to achieve is some tiny linux into my 5510 (to cut throught the w2k, xp passwords) if somebody is interested in this gimme a shout.

p.s. if ive posted some old garbage - sorry - i didnt read whole forum jet;P
