can some1 pls help with my nokia 6610??

Okay, Ill try to explain this best as possible, any help would be greatly appreciated.

About 4 months ago, my one of my friends girlfriends was killed in a car accident. Her Boyfriend (my friend) was using a Nokia 6610 at the time, but about 2 weeks after this happened, he decided to sell the phone to my girlfriend. When we tried to use the phone, all we got was a message saying "this phone has been blocked on this network, please call 125111 for further info". We have since found out the phone was on a plan, and signed up in the dead girlfriends name. So i guess cos she passed away, the network provider (AAPT Australia) has cancelled the phone..After speaking with them, they say they dont lock ANY of their phones, so it should work....
I wouldnt have a clue...

I guess phone is blocked by IMEI..try with differend card../other provider/ and see what will heppend..

Thanks for the reply, but I should have mentioned in my first post that i have already tried the phone with sim cards from three different service providers, and none work, they all say the same thing..I also purchased a usb data cable for the phone, hoping that would help fixing the thing...Is there something i could possibly do with that to fix it?? Thanks..
