I tried to unlock my Nokia 8210 v5.26 using Nokia Flash cables (NK-FLASH2) and Dejan Flasher 1.0b software. I downloaded the correct flash version files and flashed the phone at address 00280000. When I tried to switch the phone back on, the phone didn’t respond, in other words it was dead.
Luckily, I made a full flash backup of the phone from address 00200000 to 00400000, I then flashed the phone with my backup file. However, I made one big mistake, I flashed the phone at address 00280000 instead of 00200000 (DOH!). So basically anything after address 00400000 to 004D0000 (I think) I’ve corrupted.
I used Nokia Tool ASM to view the information about my phone and it now shows IMEI as all 0’s, Original IMEI as 656565’s, MCC+MNC as EEEEE, GID 1 and 2 FFFF and MSIN as all E’s.
I then flashed to the corrected address 00200000, and now when I switch on the phone it shows “Contact Service”.
Is there any way of recovery that bit of data from address 00400000 to 004D0000 etc?
All help is appreciated.
