8310: very very strange behaviour!!!

Symptoms:
After some time I open (on) the phone signal is interminent and even lost. If I off and on again it is ok but not for much time.
Some times the signal seems to be ok (full) but actually it is off (no calls, no sms). If I off and on the device it works ok.
What could this be? I cannot understand this strange behaviour!!! Could it be a battery problem (which seems to work fine) or else?
Any advice? I have this problem for about a week...

Seems to me its hardware problem..U need to reheat/reball the HAGAR chip..

I had it "repaired" payed 30 euros BUT! the problem remains... grrrrrrrr
The guy changed the signal amplifier because it was a little cracked and that there was also some oxidation...
The problem is similar to another post I read... 15minutes and then singal is off (though to the screen the signal seems to be ok).
When you say I have to reball reheat the Hagar Chip how can I do it? Which part should I take off and then heat (literally?) at which temperature? Can I do this on myself?

u need the 8310 service manual to locate the hagar, search in the forums for that.
if u have a hot air rework station (£190), apply some heat to the ic to "reheat" it.
if that fails, heat the ic then remove the chip and replace the balls with your balling kit and rerattach to the board.
dont think you can do that yourself somehow

It may also be called Helga, depending on the age of the 8310.

And no, somehow I also think you won't be able to do this by yourself.

Take it back the the place that replced the PA, and complain.
