I cant seem to do it even though ive read on here that you can. I have made the attached 2 data cables and used S500 Service Tools Version 2 by Myky but still no success. Am i doing something wrong? Can anyone help?

what type of cable are you using?
i tried a cable (comport) from a computer fair which did not work at all, then i tried usb which worked spot on.
if you get a good cable and can use ringtone and picture software you should be able to change imei.
connect your phone to your pc (with the sim removed!) and powered on, select enter tat on the program and your phone screen should go blue with TAT MODE in red.
once your there you can change your imei.
keep trying and you'll get there.
