3210 fast discharge

help i got 3210 which each is drained battery very fast. i dont know . i already change my batttery but still the problem exist. i search in the schematic diagram i saw it is connected to c169,c155,r126,r125 and power ic pls help i dont what is the approach.

Mostly PA is the element to blame..
U need to change it..

hey!thats not electronics,theoretically a PA(power amplifier-is signal related ic) is a device used to give initial strenght to recieve signal of your mobile phone.It has no relation with the fast discharging of your battery.even if you remove the ur PA mechanically still you will still have the same problem.try to check the terminal pin of your battery terminal perhaps it does not touchches firmly on the phone.moving battery(fake cheaper battery) inside the phone is the cause of most power failure like autoshutoff.

In sme cases the PA and Antena Switch are to blame for the fast power drain
but only durring a call
in other words
if your Batt is full
and make a call
after 10 sec you get a beep sound saying Battery low
Problem is PA and Antena switch

Now if bat drains on its own ( fast )
then you will have to replace
a few components
like ic ´s --c169 & c155

I havent experience in repair PA and antswitch cause fast discharge.But consider this-I had before a 6210 who has the same problem.Even if i charge it for a long period of time the battery indicator display only 2 bars-it doesnt goes to full bar.I did examine the capacitors of the charging module and change some but the same problem exist.then finally,i guess to change the external connector coupling the charger and the pcb with new one and it went ok.try to check loosing connection for the battery terminal on the boards,this are the most cause of lost of power problem.

What the PA and Antena switch does is shut down the fone during a call

in other words full 5bar battery when you make a call itt goes down to 1 bar and you get LOW Battery signal
that is PA and ANTENA switch PROBLEM

I reserve that argument of yours since observation does sometimes fail,a call is cut off maybe but for me its has no direct connection wether PA and antenna switch is responsible to power pluctuation or lost that is evident on the circuit diagram of nokia 3210 model.

what PA does is Make a phone use more power thus shut the fone off
But sometimed COBBA is also responsable for that and needs to be reflowed or replaced

You have a weak battery charge when PA tend to shut your phone during transmitt.You see During standby your phone consume less current,10-50ma compare to when your phone is transmitting-roughly 200-250ma current.On the otherhand if your battery has full charge and your PA consume or full more power your PA will blow.

as in subject, i found on schematics two PA's, N500 and N501, which one are you talking about?

I've checked the current drown from the battery:
1) switched off - 0.4mA - OK (sholud be 0 - 1 mA)
2) stand-by - 2.8mA - OK (sholud be 2 - 8 mA) (with leds turned off)
3) call mode - 850mA - very not OK (should be 100 - 350 mA)
so when i call, the phone drain current about three times greater that it should. of course it switch off.
So i have to change the Antene switch and which PA???
I understand CCont have nothing to do with this?

oh and the last thing, is it ok if current drain jumps about one time on a two second to 50 mA in standby mode?
