I want to get a Nokia phone that is only available in Europe, but it doesn't have the 850 band that Cingular uses. Will it work well in the US??

Anyone have info? I don't want to buy a phone that doesn't have the 850 band if it won't work well here in New Jersey
All "triple-band" phones work in the US, but I'm not sure they will work with Cingular. But some phones have GSM 850/1800/1900.

If i can't buy a cellphone in the old good U.S of A. Then i wouldn't buy it anywhere. I don't care about what price it is. I would just search until i found 1 @ a decent price within the U.S.![]()
