5130 wont charge battery after flash

Sorry but this must be getting on your nerves by now!

The 5130 I thought was sorted, now wont charge.
It actually says on the screen battery not charging.
If you leave the charger on the phone you see and hear one beep
the battery indicator flash once, then 5 seconds and it does it again. If you try to turn the phone on now, it comes on briefly and turns straight off ( i'm assuming its the battery being flat )
if you try to turn it on with the charger attached it turns on briefly and then says battery not charging.

I have tried flashing again 6 or so times and tried knok etc but with out luck.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Oh! I have tried my charger on another nokia and it worked fine.

checked all contacts as well.

I have now tried a friends battery from his phone.

The phone works fine, got a signal and every thing BUT

When you connect the charger,

the screen says "NOT CHARGING" and a little sign saying "STOP"



( Charger is ok tried on another nokia )

Please if you have any ideas

What charger are you using ??
Some chargers don't work on 51/61XX series phones ! They have different output voltages and charging currents!!

Try using a ACP-7X or ACP-9X charger.
ACP-7X is the bog standard charger supplied with the 51XX seris phone!

I flashed with a file from a great guy called Rackstraw
and my phone now charges fine.
