i can remember an app called miniGPS, when in a certain gprs zone you could tel the phone you are a certain place say "home" etc, takes alot of setting up but when its done it works, i used it for a while, was usfull for like going to school it would when i get to school change my profile to silent, when i left turn it back to general

also nokia have a gps module you can connect to your pone via bluetooth but its not cheap
