philips camcoder not recording over 40 seconds

Hi,
I've got a nokia 6600 and philips camcoder wont record for any more than 40 seconds. Ive checked all the settings and its on unlimited time and space, its set to save to the memory card which has lots of free space but when it gets to 40 seconds it freezes.
any ideas, I've tried different versions but they all seem to do the same.

Is it cr*cked version?

I have 6600 and Camcoder Pro v 1.0.3 (works fine)

its the cr*cked version. I figured out its something to do with the memory card. If I use my standard 32 mb card it records fine, but if I use my 256 mb card it gets to about 40 seconds and freezes.
I might try formatting my card and trying again but how do I do it with no card reader etc????

card readers r really cheap
just buy it
i bought mine for 10USD and it wasnt the cheapest

PS: if u really dont feel like buying one u can still format the MMC in the phone

Maybe Your friends have card reader.
