hands up , i am a noob

i have used the sites unlocking code generator and several other apps . the 6170 doesnt feature in any of the drop down boxes .. reading this site i read that i must use the 6230 as the equivilent ..all have failed

my 5 goes are up and it is now the cable option only .. ok , but which cable ??

need a part number and preferable an application to go with .. any further help greatly appreciated.

i am assuming that the dku-2 is useless ??
