Unlocked 6020... phone doesn't work?!

Hi!
I recently unlocked my Nokia 6020 and as soon as the 'Phone restrictions: Off' message appeared, the phone shut off by itself. When I try to turn it on, it works for about 10-15 seconds and then shuts off by itself. I'm using the Fido Canada network and used the Asic6/Asic2 codes to unlock the phone. Any ideas as to what might be happening to my phone? Any comments will be apprecated at this stage :/

Well, the unlocking process should not have generated that, so I think it's a faulty firmware. If it is, you will have to flash the phone. Better go to a small repair shop, since the hardware needed to flash a phone is too expensive for just one phone.

The probability of a faulty firmware is higher due to the strange reaction that it had. It should not have turned itself off after code input. And the current situation really leads towards this end.
