Insert Sim

My Nokia 8210 says insert sim even with the sime in there. Can anybody please tell me what is wrong with it?

Hmm...

Place a folded piece of small paper behind the SIM, and see if this works, otherwise, try another SIM and see if it is a sim problem, otherwise you might need to clean the contacts or even replace the SIM connector thingy (what's the damn thing called!?!)

To clean the contacts, both SIM and mobile, moisten a cotton swab with a little alcohol, don't drentch the thing
