Adding ringtones to my V180

hello you all,

well, as you must know, moto v180 is capable to play mp3 files as ringtones. a few days ago i was trying to upload a mp3 file from my pc to my cell, but i wasn't even able to transfer the file, was using the mobile phonetools software, used the same software to transfer pictures with success. my phone came with some mp3 format ringtones, checked them and noticed that they are 32 khz (or kbps, can't remember exactly, but it is one or the other), so i changed the mp3 i was trying to transfer from pc to my cell but no success. what am i doing wrong? is it because of a locked phone? anyone with same problem? solution? please help me, moto ringtones s...!!!!

well, thanks for your help people ..... after all this time ..... anyways if you are a newbie like me and looking for answer to this matter, i found out what i was doing wrong. first, mobile phone tools is only useful to transfer the file, that's it. you will need other kind of software to edit the mp3 and cut only the part of the song you want to listen to when the phone rings and to change its quality. my mistake? i was saving the modified files in stereo mode, and everytime i tried to transfer them to the phone i got this stupid mistake, something about something not supported, anyways, once i saved them in mono mode, boom! they went through ... now i can make my own ringtones. thanks to ............................ ME.
