For info - seems like the only way u can get it on these phone is to get another bluetooth phone, connect to it and find it that way.

if you mean the name of your device then you can find it in the menu... however if you mean the actual bluetooth ID that is written into the flash to uniquley identify your phone then you must use a box to extract it... as far as i know your Bluetooth ID is matched to your IMEI anyway so you wouldnt really wanna change it... i think thats right...?

yeah i think you can do it with a dongle and a PC if i am not mistaken... why you need this anyway?? and no... dont post your IMEI unless a member tells you to PM him it then you can PM it but dont post it.

each person must be responsible for own actions so, changing IMEI is up to you and no judgements will be made here.

my opinion is that if one has a broken phone with a good IMEI it's a good idea to use it in another phone. happened to me before when working with an 8210 without IMEI sticker. once IMEI vanished from eeprom i had to get another from a broken one (i keep a list of good IMEIs in case things go bad )

    cheers

i dont know about this one... i think i am right in saying that to write an IMEI into a D500 you must use WinIMEI with a valid Samsung Username and Password... if you dont have this then unlucky you wont be able to do it!! i think this is right...

if you have the IMEI label with the old IMEI of the phone AND you have the Samsung Username and Password as you say you do then cant you log into the Samsung site and look up your IMEI which will also tell you the matched BTID? you used to be able to do this dunno if you still can...
