Trying to upgrade/repair Nokia6250(V3.12) Knok v2 says "Cannot Prepare Phone"

Hi,

I bought a cable from and it's name is "Dejan Flasher".

I tried to unlock and repair (upgrade firmware from V3.12 to v5.03) my Nokia6250 with this cable using Knok v2 and some other utilities.
Knok succeed to unlock my phone. I also have been able to read security info of my phne and enable it's NetrMonitor.

But when it comes to upgrading/backing up firmware, knok says "Cannot Prepare Phone". Can anybody please help me about that?

I have this problem too. Would appreciate any help whatsoever.

firstly ensure it is a flash cable you are using (ONe that connects via the parallel port on your computer) NOT the serial port, if it still doesnt wor go into the bios and change the paralell mode tp ECP/EPP/ESP/SSP whatever one works.

I guess you are using a wrong cable. Csmith is correct, the Dejan flasher cable should be connected to lpt1.
