    8890

Hello Everyone, I haven't been on the site in quite a while.. I have a 8890 that I want to unlock so I can put it on Ebay.. It will only accept T-Mobile (who I work for) and I am in the process of changing cell companies .. (T-Mobile service stinks where I live ) Everyone helped me quite a bit when I was trying to unlock an older 5190 I had... Anyway Is it worth me purchasing a data cable to unlock it... Everyone one of the others I have seen are unlocked...
    Many Thanks
    Mollie

Still cant believe 'You' cant get the subsidy codes since they allow the general public to e-mail or call for them.

The software you would use is the same as you used for 5190 so it should be straight forward.

By the way if memory serveds didnt you say something to the effect of loving your 8890 so much and never getting rid of it??

So whats up with e-baying it?

It has been a while since I did that with the 5190 and I learn by doing things over and over again.. It is not that I can't get the subsidy codes , I am just to impatient to wait for T-Mobile to take their take to get them to me..
I love me little 8890 and thought I would never get rid of it, but I am changing cell companies for service.. And I will not need it anymore so I am going to sell it and figured to put it on ebay to get the most for it.. That way it pays for the new phone I bought.. Oh we finally did get notice about the Nokia you asked me about , the 720 (I think) have alraedy supposed to have gotten them but T-Mobile is very slow about getting new phones haven't had a new Nokia in a while... They have samsung and motorola but I don't care for those...

So did you manage to unlock it?
So from the sounds of it, if your switching cell companies and will not need it that means your not using GSM so your going to someone like SprintPcs or Verizon...(If thats the case YUK!)

It was the 7210 (720 is a Motorola Unit you just received, 720i actually). We found out, like you said 'Yes you were supposed to have them', actually before the other carriers but it is now pushed back to some time first part next year.. We're buying the OEM version for now...

Agree with ya on the Samsung and Motorola...Some of the Samsung models aren't bad (n625 which Cingular carries)..T-mobile will be getting a new $$$$$ one in about 2-3weeks w/built in camera.

    Talking 8890 , 3390

Hey Phonedudes, I just wanted to tell you I got the 8890 unlocked, also a 3390 I have.. I went searching again because I had lost the program I downloaded.. But because I did it last time I knew I could do it this time.. It took a couple of trys , wouldn't read the phone.. But it was because you encouraged me last time that I had the nerve to try it again.. I just wanted to say thanks again....... Mollie
