nokiatool problem

Ive downloaded NokiaTool, and i load it. and at the bottom left it says turn on phone then 1..3 sec press read, but i do as i see/told, and when i press read it says com port 2 busy?!?!?!

Anyideas on how to fix this?

Have you selected the correct com port?
Have you told it to automatically detect settings (this is the easiest way of doing it but make sure the phone is on when you do it!)

Also if you have another program running like logomanager it will not work, so close it down!

No, this is the only program ive used. This was the first program ive downloaded.
I did got the program finding the phone auto. But when i go to press read it says com port 2 busy.

Now as to if its on or off.. Let me try now.
Still com port 2 busy.

Make sure that your computer doesn't use COM2 as anything else accept the serial port, Mine used to also call my modem COM2 which can cause hardware conflicts.

Try downloading logomanager and see if you can get that to connect to the phone!
If it does then you know it must be the software!
Which version of nokia tool are you using??
