Battery Life of a 7650 #2

Sorry to bother you guys again I recently posted about how my first Nokia 7650 used to last 4 days with out charging it, It broke and I was given 2 replacements, which both last about 21 hours before going completly flat and switching off.

Thats the waffle out the way!!

I noticed the replacement phone I have been given has a bios version of : 3.12 03/06/02, Which seems to me to be quite old in the Nokia scheme of things, my questions are:

1) Has anyone else experienced short battery life on a phone with this Bios?

2) What is the current 7650 Bios? and does it fix this problem.

and finally

3) Can I flash the bios with my 7650 cable, or do I have to take it to a Nokia service centre?

Your comments would be greatly appreciated, as a phone with 22 hours battery life is driving me nuts.

turn off you phone when not in use...

thats the best advice i could give...
