cheers for codes. couldnt get them to work though. tried no 7 first then 1-6 in order. for each code the phone would not let me put in the final # after the rest of the code. have double checked imei number and network code. have unlocked phone with cable at shop today but any ideas why the codes woulnt work? cheers

the codes are the same. the first set of codes have the second digit changed by minus 1 (if u check and subtract 1 from the second digit of the second set of codes)

from memory you only have to do that on certain fone models.. No idea as to why though ??

have a try with these first.. only code 1 and 2 though as most Uk fones are only locked with lock 1 and sometimes lock 2

Strange.. never come accross it b4.

normally you put a different provider sim in (o2) if it`s locked on orange etc etc and the fone should say restricted and an option above one key that says undo. press undo and then start putting the code in..
#pw+783550304117154+1# and it should reply with restriction removed or simmilar and then reboot the fone.. then if it still says restricted you enter code 2. etc etc
