The seven codes are used in order and punched into your nokia handset powered up without a sim chip like so...

#pw+(CODE1)+1#
#pw+(CODE2)+2#
#pw+(CODE3)+3#
#pw+(CODE4)+4#
#pw+(CODE5)+5#
#pw+(CODE6)+6#
#pw+(CODE7)+7#

Codes 1 and 7 are attempted first.

[loremipsum]

newbie question here:

so, from what i understand, after i get the codes, i'd try the first one, then the seventh one. and, after doing one of those, the phone might unlock...

if the #1 and #7 doesn't work, i would then start with 2, then 3, then 4, down to 6. correct?

i also hear that after a number of unsuccessful attempts that the phone (3650) prevents remote unlocking and you need to use a cable.

how many attempts do you get? does each number entered count as an attempt? meaning, if i enter in code #1, then #7 then #2, is that already 3 attempts?

thanks in advance for the help!

cheers.

I just tried #1 and #7 codes and it did not work. The phone was turned on without a sim card. Any idea why? It's a nokia 3650 which is DCT4 right?

Maybe it's the firmware...

Hi! Can you provide or direct me to any software/hardware that can unlock Nokia phones - preferably 3650, 7250, 7650. I also want to help to provide free service for unlocking on our forum.

Also, any idea what is the exact difference between DCT3 and DCT4 and which Noia models come under which category. Nokia website has no mention of DCT.
