    6210 with temporary network lockup

I've got a 6210 which works ok 90% of the time, but all of the sudden it either totally drops the network, and has to be restarted to regain it or - even worse because you can't tell when this happens: it shows full antenna bars but still can't be called or when I try to make a call it answers with a few beeps after some seconds of pretending it is dialling...
After off/on it is ok again

I've flashed latest software, (faid is 2nd nature) done a full factory reset, reheated the whole pcb in the oven for 2 minutes @ 220 C ... still the same... all of the sudden it refuses service...

Anyone out there with a good idea what to do now?
    I've run out of ideas....

    Greetings, NT

    anyone?

just found another symptom: it refuses to accept certain roaming networks abroad, (answers with "not allowed" upon manual selection)definetely a phone problem, as this is the "partner network" of my provider and my 6310 has no problems loggin in, using the same Sim card.

anyone with an idea out there?

    thanx, NT

Keep trying flashes! A FUBU would be recommended, better still, one from a phone you know is working!

just trying the fubu of my own 6210 ...
that fone (not my own one) is soo weird ....
accepts one Network (GSM900) but if forced onto another 900 Network by manually selecting this particular network on my 6310 and changing sim over will result in a 5 sec full Network bar followed by a total Network loss .... strange thing :-/

hmm ...no luck, too. With the fubu of my own fone it does the same thing....

and: as soon as the flash is complete the sucker switches on by itsself...
    never seen that before

Sounds more like your antenna switch is stuffed! Try a simcard which is on 1800Mhz and see what happens! It's a common fault with the 6210!
