Sony CMD- J6 battery

Hi peoples.

Im looking for a battery for a Sony CMD- J6 online, iv found a site that has one, and ata a good price.

what i need to know is:

the battery from the original phone is..... 3.9V 640 mAh TYP.
the battery from the the site is............... 3.9V 550 mAh TYP.

Is it compatable to work in the phone?

Yes, it will still work ok.

The mAh value refers to the capacity of the battery, so the replacement one won't last as long between charges due to the lower capacity.
