    why cant we upgrade the ram in a 7650 by soldering more in??

    can we not just remove the 4mb chip and solder in 32mb...like they do for IPAQs...just unsolder the 16mb chip and solder in 64mb...why would it be so much more difficult for the 7650?

    Could it be that the OS or hardware architecture cant support greater than a 4 meg dram chip?, anyone with insider information?, if it can support this i am willing to resolder a bigger memory chip into mine then offer it as a service to others if needed?
