Hi to you both!!! Once again thanks for the advice you have sent me.
I am getting to know more & more about mobile phones and the things you can do with them.I need to know that with the 5110,61xx,3210 is it ok then to flash with rolis or have you got be more carefull?Or have you got to do something else before you flash?Hope to hear from either or both of you soon.

Hi Rob

You can use Rolis 4.77 with these phone models. Rolis software is the BEST i think.....and things dont go wrong too much.

Remember, that in older models...EEPROM was EXTERNAl and backup in not required ......but do read the MCU & PPMpackage using b-phreakslogger before flashing.

Actually, I ever read 5110,61xx,3210 by rolis. But I'm never flashing them.
As far as I know, if you reflash area that you was backup with your backup file, it's become like the first before you flashed it. But, just I said, I never do that, just my analysis. So, be carefull..

maybe other friend can give you more advise...

Well,3210,5110 and older phone like this have EXTERNAL EEPROM chip.......so no need to backup.

Only new phones with eeprom emulated in flash....needs to be backed up...like in 8210,8850, 3330 and 3310 etc.
