Hmm plz someone correct me if i am wrong:

I have a nokia 5110 v5.28.
I want to unlock the sp-lock.
I mak my dejan LPT to nokia cable on my own.
Let's say it works
I launch flasher 1.0b
try to read at first , let's say it works , then
i get a 5110 v5.28 .fls file from the NET and using write i upload it.

Pleaze tell me someone did i miss anything , cause i don't want to burn my phone , maybe a little step or smthng.

You do not need to flash it.

Use Nokiatool to unlock it wia a normal serial MBus cable (as the one used to send logos and ringtones, a datacable).

Just open the first lock (SP-lock, service provider) that it is closed to your network. Do not click on OPEN locks, because it will be locked for sure !!!

Just to be sure, I've already done it on mine !

To obtain the soft, just go to mobile.box.sk

Thanx , i will try to make my own cable tomorow , althought it's valentines day , oh yeah HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERY1 , i have Dejan's rs232 to m2bus

Once you are wrong.........
5110 v 5.28 cannot be unlocked by mbus....
only by flasher......
upload 5110v528.fls to adress 00250000......thats all....
5110 can be unlocked by nokiatool only up to version 5.27....

I forgot to mention that 5110v528.fls i ment as a partial unlock flash that is of 64 kb.......

Dear Abe,

Before talking, try it !!! I've still got my 5110 working !!!
When I unlocked it, i didn't have any flasher cable, only MBus cable...

only solution by mbus was when flasher was not available and it was like this...

5110 v 5.28:
open 5110...
find eeprom chip...
connect pin 6 and 7 short circuit.......
press OPEN ALL.....5-6 times....
remove 6 and 7 pin connection
press OPEN ALL again......thats it
5110 5.29...
same procedure but you have to connect pin 5 to a 10k resistor to GND........

trust me....that is the only way for MBUS........i've done it hundred times when flasher even didnt exist............

if u ask some guys that do this things for a long time you will see that im not talking @!#$........
anyway,if u could unlock it by mbus easy why kima made this @!#$ above more than a year ago=??????????????????

I have 5110 v 504 it was locked by someboby so in all windows only BBBBB and so on. Trying to read it by Dejan Flasher gives fls files with only FF FF FF. What should i do this it.
