Thread: Nokia 3330 V4.30 is dead

  1. #1
    Hello there,

    I have a Nokia 3330 V4.30.
It was simlocked. i tried to unlock it. and it has gone dead.
I backuped the full flash. so i flashed the backup with a full flash.
But now it won't even turn on.
when i try to turn the phone on, it doesn't do a thing.
    It's dead.

Does anyone knows what i have to do.
Or is the only solution... Throw the phone away?
I hope somebody has a solution.

    Thanks,

    RobbieNL

    Hi Robbie

You did the rite thing making a full backup but did you check the backup before you re flashed the phone?

If the flash is corrupted and it was from 200000 to 600000 then you have a set of spare parts for 3330 unless you can get a friendly service centre to rescue it for you (could be expencive anyway).

If your flash was from 200000 to 550000 then reflashing with the same MCU/PPM package will restore the phone.
If you use a different package then you need to use logger to recalc checksums for you.

Hope You can restore your phone try different flashers with your backup and make sure you have a fully charged battery and good contacts.

    Good luck Graham

then only flash it with a flash 3330 v 4.16 from brad.satelit.cz and see if the phone turns on.........
if not..take it to the service center....if yes-> mail me because you will have to recalculate FAID and i can help you..........
