    Question How to change message tone alerts ???

    ok, so im a newbie around here... was wondering how do you exactly change the message tone alerts for a 5110 series phones? a step by step process would be helpful...

    Cool alertones you need

    to change the alone alertones you need the flashtone v 2.05 or later and the flashfile of your telephone, the only thing that you have to take into account is that the long of the since chiming if you use very long melodies they are simply incomplete in the telephone

    the change of the name for the melody if you have to make it with an edithexa.

    i've changed the message alert tone of 5110 v.2.11 using flashtone v.2.06, after that i've calculated the chksums using nfree 1.2, flashed it to the phone using rolis 4.78b6. but when i turn on the phone, it says contact service, any idea?

    Erm silly you, tones tored in PPM and NFREE only corrects MCU checksums OH MY GOD what do we do????!!!!!!

    Well open PPM Manager and tools - correct all crc's and wahey you sorted dude

    Kill the checks with g3n0lite and no more updating faid and mcu checks etc yay
