Polyphonic ringtones means that they sound more than one "voices" simultanousley. Monophonic sounds one voice.

yet.... is possible to convert a monofonic ringtone (wav) to poliphonic ringtone (midi)... but the sound is always with an unic field...
You must search in internet midi files.... and insert them in 7650 or in others poliphinics cells.....

Hi.

The file used in pc with the extension .wav is far away from monofonic. It is a kind of digitized sample. For example Sony J7/J70 hsets uses digitized ringtones. It means that they can record your speech/enviroment noises etc. and can playback them later as ringtone.

The file with mid extension is different. It does not contain samples it just have commands when, how, how long to play voices already stored on your pc or music device. In fact, it is really hard to code a routine that converts .wav to mid (As I see at the moment this is not possible). Conversion from .mid to .wav is simple...
