    Signal lose on 8210

    Hi all,I have an 8210 which loses signal.One minute i have signal next i have nothing.I can send & receive calls, but not very often.Also when i'm in a call, it will just cut out.
    I have re-flashed/updated faid/re-set software etc but i'm still getting the same problem.
    Any idea's here.

    Yep, u probably have a hardwarefailure.
    If so, then you have to change the cobba-chip.(or was it coppa?)
    Try to search for either of thoose and you will hit several threads with similar probs.

    Strip phone down and take out or off screen and turn board over, at the top of the board blow hot air over it NOT STRAIGHT AT IT (use hair dryer or a paint stripper) for about 10-15 mins MAX and put phone back together again, done this many times on 8210's and 33xx's and works about 80% of the time.

    Hi lonegunman,Thanks for that mate.Iwill give it a go.Also i have a 3310 that has a voice problem.I can hear but i cannot be heared.
    I have changed the mic & re-flashed it,but still can't be heared.
    Any help on this one?

    Water Damaged Phone? If so take phone apart and clean that should fix it, if not don't know with out having a look at the phone.
