3330 can charge Ni-MH batt but not Li-ion

Hi Alll,

Have is this problem for a 3330 that can charge Ni-MH Batt but not Li-ion.

Once I put in the charger with the Li-ion batt, it will display charging for about 2sec than display not charging.

Have change the charging ic but still not working.

anyone can help?

Maybe your Lithium battery is broke....
How long do you have it?

my 5510 did same thing, battery was some months used, bought ni-mh.
now, after some months not trying, li-ion works again, this time have been testing it with 3310.
it surely has some cell broken or something, voltage over 3.6v but some times phone will turn off.

have try with 2 new li-ion batt same problem, don't think is the batt.

must be some thing else, just cannot find that component.

it's software problem. check software version, is ver 4.30 or below upgrade it to 4.50 and do sfs

i fix two 3330 problem not charging with li-ion by flashing them

You can freeze your batt. if its spoiled by over or under charged.

how did you managed to flash your phone, coz i hav the same problem, but hav no idea how to flash.
i hav however, found the 4.5 firmware...

You need to have a flash cable, do a search, there is a lot of shop selling them.
Also you would need the flashing software, same thing do a search on how to flash, there is a lot of website which have guides.
