MBUS & FBUS with 3310

Hi,
I've a 3310 SW 4.02, and a MBUS/FBUS cable connected to com1.
I saw that we couldn't flash with this type of cable.

But if I use a "serial -> paralell adaptor" to plug my data cable in the lpt port, will it work?
Or is there a way to turn a MBUS/FBUS cable into a dejan cable?
