help with flashing nokias

can anyone tell me what is the difference between partial flash files, and mcu-ppm,and could u plz tell me what flash files i should use to upgrade my SW version,partial or mcu or ppm

To upgrade your soft use MCU+PPM flashes.
Partial flashes were used to unlock phone by the flashing way, but since nk_calc and some other softwares appeared, that way was gone.
The partial flash is only a small part of the software where is the informations about the kind of lock that the phone has. The MCU+PPM flash contains all the phone's software except the eeprom.

Correct me if i'm wrong.
