changing flasher into unlocker

hi i have a flasher cable to the LPT port yet every unlocker i have found only unlocks using a COM port how can i fix this?
can i put a LPT to COM converter on the end of the cable and will it work?

All soft for COM is not reliable. Unlocking is only possible via LPT and appropriate soft, for example - Dejan Flasher

do you know anyother software which makes it impossible to @!#$ your phone up or aint there none that can do that? i heard 'nokia unlocker v1.1b' do you know anything about that?
