t100 flip switch not working

please can anybody help i have a t100 and the screen stays on when the flip is closed the main light faids but the screen stays on and also the outer screen light does not come on. I have fitted a new housing i have replaced everything that was on the old housing any ideas anybody. does anyone know whats trips the switch

theres a small magnet mounted in the original casing this needs to be put into the new housing
