Hi, well krubs the Z drive is a Rom Drive, it's not possible, I think it's only to put the operative system of the phone I think they have 15MB because the future updates.
About the rumors u have heard, well forget it , ppl talk about a storage disc with a BT connection, so u need one more thing on ur pocket but no way this discs only works to pc devices

    bahh..muito mau

i know the bluetooth alternative disc, but even if it works with 7650 it wouldnīt be real usefull to carry more things with us..

i had hope that it could be phisically changed and extra-memory would be added..

    tks 4your answers

"yaa, mm isso k tnh pensado.. "

replace the 7650 disk with one bigger, maybe the disk that comes with 3650 with 4mb could be used in 7650.. isnīt that possible to do with the right equipment and the right person (obviamente)

    Hi, Krubs,

here a some technical facts, but they all results to: Never more memory to the 7650!

    1. Drive Z: is an EEPROM-Chip and contains the Symbian OS. It is nearly full and nobody can edit a file. Only Specialists can erase the complete chip and than reburn a new, complete upgrade. This is a firmwareupgrade.

    2. The "user memory" at Drive C: is the same as at 3650.

    3. Drive D: is using by the OS for temp-files, and all contains will be delete at new booting. Every time.

    4. Some new phones have more space at Drive C: e.g. 16 MB. But it is not possible, to exchange our memory.

    5. The future of Multi Media Phones is only a build in Slot for MMC-Cards, like N3650 and others. Here you can place a 128 MB card, 256 MB cards are at work.

    6. Blue Tooth Harddrive (extern) for our phone is shit, cause the price is higher as a new phone (about 500 $).

    Best Greetings
