8310 'Sim Card Registration Failed' ???

Just received a Nokia 8310 - recognises network (O2) briefly then 'Sim Card Registration Failed' apperars on screen.

Can still use with Vodafone & T-Mobile but won't work on O2 or Orange.

Confused! Need it to work on O2.

Any ideas??

Seems like the phone is barred, (via IMEI) only a matter of time before Vodafone and T-Moble pass the IMEI numer to O2 and Orange.
Sell the phone before its too late

I have the same problem, i have a brand new 8310 but it barred on UK networks, i am willing to swap for another 8310 from abroad. PM me if you are interested.
