I think that if u go to connectivity/modem on your phone and choose connect, your pc will recognise it... at least that worked for moi!

Hi. Enable the modem on the phone. Make a new dialer the number you should use is : *#90#. No user or pass.

Are you trying to access dial-up or GPRS?

If GPRS, then have you configured the access point for the modem to use in settings/connection/gprs access point.

For normal dialup then you should just be able to do properties on the connection (in windows) and tick the ir modem that is in the list(it will only be there if the modem is found i.e. the ir modem has been activated on the phone). If you have other modems that are available you can take it up to the top of the list to give it priority over bt, cable etc

I'm not sure 'cause i never used that, but don't you need to run a file from the CD which came with your fone, before doing that. It's to enable PC modem, i think.
In case i'm wrong, please explain me also.

It depends what OS you're using, I've had no problem with XP sp1 using the modem of 9110/6210/6310i/7650/5100, without installing any nokia modem sw. It just recognises the capabilities of the phone. And you're off. (although with NT4 I had to install the drivers for the 9110 and 6210)

I guess the dial up to GPRS is network dependant but for UK Vodafone network it's

    *99# OR *99***1#

To use these though, you must have setup the access point on the fone, again in the case of vodafone this is "internet"

If you already have dial-up connections setup, to ur ISP you can use these also with the fone. All you do is enable the modem on the fone and point at the ir. And XP will detect it at and, as long as no other modems are connected, will use it to dal the connection. If other modems are connected you need to go to properties and tick only the ir modem (or move it up so it's the first choice.)
