sagem MW3020 - HELP ME PLEASE!

My daughter has bought a phone from her friend, she saved her pocket money for weeks to get this phone, problem is when she puts her sim card in (02) it displays PAY T LOCK! it was VODAFONE pay as you go, Help me please as I dont know to much about all this.

If anyone got one of these they need to unlock then it's pretty simple, and you don't need a cable:

turn on phone without a sim card in it.

get the imei number (type *#06#)

use sagem 2k2 logger to generate the a test code from the iemi. It will generate something like *226632623?7

you need to replace the ? with digits 0-9 until you find one that works:

ie:
type *22663262307, then press ok if it beeps and does nothing then type *22663262317 and press ok, and so on until you find one that works (the 'sim not present' message should disappear)

press the down arrow, followed by * to enter the service menus.

go to the PROM menu and select reading/writing.

type 0 at the 'index:' prompt and press ok, write this number down then press cancel.

select reading/writing again and type in 191, again write this number down.

start all sagem calculator, select H21 - MW3020 from the options.

In the field0 box enter the first code you've written down and in the field 191 box enter the second number.

Click on 'Find phone ID with brute force method' and wait for a bit. you should see youe IMEI and unlock code in the box on the right. Check that the imei matches (just for safetys sake !).

Turn on the phone with a sim in it and when the payt lock message appear, enter the unlock code and press validate.

hey presto you should have an unlocked phone

if you get the 'phone code?' message turn on the phone without a sim, enter the test code and select phone code from the application menu - then just press delete.

hi guys
i tried using the 2k2 logger for my mw3026 wich displays simlocked ,but when ever i try to enter the test mode code, the last two diggits would not enter and a sign comes on that says validate and nothing happens even when i try to ok it, can i get a solution to that.

This method only works for old sagem and not work for 2k2 sagems!!!!

I try to calculate by field which you post but is not finde!
I think is hash 21 and you must go on unlokc server to unlokc them!
Becouse nobody can't calculate ID must read by the cable!
And after is easy to calculate unlcok code!

hey my names Becci an I'm tryin 2 get this Stupid bloody Sagem MW3020 unlocked, I used all them calculator things but it says 'cannot find code, check datas is correct'. The data i have inputed is correct so I dont know what the matter is!

mmmm..... you know ... so many time the same question is asked... you could save your own time ... everybody elses time and room /space on the server that hosts this...

the answer to your question is on the forum... all you have to do is LOOK!!... GGGGrrrr.... the software that you need is free! and all the info too....want an easy life???

Like Dexter above , I have the same problem - the phone has the SIM locked display as soon as its powered on, with or without a SIM.
I can use *#06# to get the IMIE but cannot enter the test code as it is just being taken as entry of the unlock code. Is there any way around this to use cncity's method?

Also, I have tried seriously to search out the solution across all forums, new and old, but this is the only one that comes close to providing what I want.

As a new boy to this site, maybe there are some tips you can give me to improve my searches, but I have been doing the same sort of thing since I came into IT about 30 years ago, though the one thing I have learned is that you can always learn more from others - so I hope you guys can help me please - particularly Shaun and hrco 'cos you guys really seem to know your biz.

Been searching around for a while, and this thread has seemed the most useful so far...

Trying to unlock my MW3020 (Software version DG4,5M) - follwed the instructions above, and got as far as entering values in all sagem calculator as follows:

Field 0: 083A23223135125691
Field 191: 6CAD16B2

Selected H21

Press "find phone ID using brute force method"

This just brings up an error message: "Field 191/251 must contain 8 characters"

It looks to me as if field 191 DOES contain 8 characters....am I missing something here....?
