Reseting nokia 7650 software ?! how ?

I installed some software, crashed my phone now it only comes on then fades away, so does any one know how to reset software ?

hi

i had a simillar problem 5 days ago
the nokia logo appears then fades away and the phone is turned off...this is called GD(guard dog) technique used by nokia phones when the software is damaged

1-if ur phone doesnt turn off,and u can acess ur desktop, then try using *#7370#, and wait for about 5 minutes...this will format your phone to its original setting but u will loose all ur stored data(i hope u made a backup)

2-if it turns off,dont try to Flash ur phone as it is of no help..take it to Nokia service center...and they will reformat the phone and add new software

thanks, any way of doing it with having to go into a nokia service centre ? am usually on call, and found out they are open on a 9-5 ish basis,(the ones close to me any way) .. so if possible if the situcation no. '2' is occuring i.e. it fades and switches off...
