    8210 flasher cable problem!

    I have made my own Flasher cable for 8210 but When I placed it in the phone and start Rolis Flasher software a continous noisy sound come from the phone. And when I click on the read button it popup an error message box with the following message:

    Power OFF mobile first and then connect
    (Or check cable: phone TX=low(0) expected but phone TX=high read)

    I have double checked my cable but it seemed that there is nothing wrong with it.

    Is my phone damaged?

    Why don't you buy a Data Cable for your phone and then take the plug and make!

    @megastar

    My phone had a similar problem what I did was to take the battery out and put it and the cable back in when the screen for the read/write addresses came up, this solved the problem but I have to do it every time I flash it!!

    Are you using rollis?

    If you are try changing to the ltp2 port, this sometimes causes this problem!

    also if you are a win xp user you will need to install userport for rollis to have acces to the ltp in the first place.
