5110i v5.53 unlock by NokToll of Rolis

I unlock this phone n5110i 5.53 and now it displays "contact service" and also eeprom checksum failed.I tried to use EEPROM tools 3.1 but it doesnt work.I need ur help pls......

ok. First what exactly did you do? Did you first flashed it or go directly to NokTool 1.7b by rolis?

If its in contact service, try EEPROMTools 3.1 Again, keep doing so, click on repair IMEI then sp unlock, then (optional) update the FAID.

Even though its showing contact service try doing what i just mentioned, i did this and works ok.

I changed EEPROM and Flash rom then run EEPROM 3.01 and it works!!!Thanks Vinny for helping me....

Have had the same problems, exept that the reason for "CS" after unlocking was EEPROM SECURITY CHECKSUM ERROR.

Pretty funny,
The unit had all locks open after using Eeprom tools 3.01, but when you switch it off and on again it displayd CONTACT SERVICE and had all locks closed. After using Eepromtools again the unit was ok again until it was restarted...

After using hot-air to resolder, the phone was back to "normal", (if you can say tat about a Nokia.. )
